Save Leiston Library

Save Leiston Library Demonstration Saturday 5th February 2011

More than 100 people turned up to support the campaign to stop Leiston Library being closed as part of Suffolk County Council cuts. The demonstration organised by Steve Smedley one of Labour’s candidates for the District Council elections in May was attended by the Leader of the Labour group on Suffolk County Council Sandy Martin, Terry Hodgson another of the District Council candidates for Leiston and several members of Leiston-cum-Sizewell Town Council.
